Apple censors the peach emoji for considering it too erotic

Users had turned it into a symbol with which to express emotions very different from the meaning that its creators had initially given it, due to its similarity to a butt.

Apple has made the one representing a peach disappear from the catalog of emojis available on its mobile devices, whose similarities with an ass made users use it in their messages, giving it a content that has nothing to do with our emblematic fruit.  

The significance of the news has been extraordinary, and has even surprised the North American multinational, which surely did not think that a simple change in the aesthetics of one of its emojis was going to generate such a reaction in users, that through social networks has given rise to all kinds of conspiracy theories regarding the true reasons for the decision

Censorship is the most repeated word in Twitter and Facebook messages, since it is understood that the freedom of users to use it as they see fit has been restricted, and that the fact that it has been regularly used as an element of joke among them does not justifies its deletion

New designs for emojis, although the uses are decided by users

Apple and other developers are adding new designs to their emoji, since their variety and versatility means that users use them regularly to express all types of emotions and situations.

But in the end the user is the one in charge, and the symbology created by the designers over time takes on new dimensions, in some cases that go beyond what the creators themselves had foreseen.

With the new design that Apple has given to the peach, much more realistic and less conducive to obscenities, an incentive has been lost for the users of its devices, perhaps one of the few that was allowed, since Apple has a particular crusade with everything that is close to porn, and in fact, it does not allow sexual content to be viewed on its devices.
