For yet another year, COAG and the Cieza City Council have reached an agreement to maintain the services that have been provided in the Farmer Assistance Office, and in this way our farmers can continue receiving advice on issues related to their activity.<\/p>\n
In the Office, located on Compositor Granados Street, COAG provides services of utmost importance to Ciezan farmers, since it organizes courses and training actions so that they are up to date on different matters related to their activity, and they are advised on matters of agricultural insurance, also facilitating all types of administrative procedures. In short, the Office carries out an essential function of supporting the agricultural sector in Cieza, the true driving force of the Cieza economy.<\/p>\n
At the signing ceremony of the Agreement was Miguel Padilla, Regional President of COAG, who once again expressed his gratitude to the City Council for its willingness to continue renewing this collaboration agreement year after year, highlighting the support of the Ciezano City Council for the farmer, and underlining In this sense, this support goes far beyond words as it is supported by actions.<\/p>\n
For his part, the mayor of Cieza, Antonio Tamayo, reiterated that \u201cthe support from the local Administration to the agricultural sector in Cieza is essential since we are talking about the group that supports the most important economic and employment pillar that this municipality has. \u201d.<\/p>\n
Finally, Manuel Mart\u00ednez, local president of COAG, also thanked the City Council for its willingness to meet the needs of the agricultural sector, alluding however to the fact that there are still some very important ones to cover, such as the third bridge over the Segura River. He ended by pointing out that a very good harvest of fruit trees is predicted this year, especially the Cieza peach, which can lead to \u201c7,000 to 8,000 jobs starting in May.\u201d<\/p>\n
The signed Agreement, which was also attended by the Councilor for Agriculture Mar\u00eda Dolores Hortelano, represents a financial contribution by the City Council of 20,000 euros, thus maintaining the amount of the previous year.<\/p>\n
