Agromarketing signs an agreement with China in Crowd to position the Cieza peach in the Asian giant

16-04-2015.- The fruits of the 'networking' that led to the celebration of the First Cieza Peach Congress are beginning to materialize in beneficial synergies for the agricultural and tourism sector of the region. Agromarketing, a Cieza company that organizes the event and specializes in agri-food and tourism communication and marketing, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Business Development consultancy China in Crowd, based in Shanghai. Among the objectives, it is intended to position the Cieza peach brand in the Asian giant in the face of the imminent opening of the Chinese market to stone fruit from Spain.

Both companies will work on creating a commercial network of contacts and distribution between the peach producers of Cieza and its region and the Chinese end consumer. “It would be about opening a new market that dilutes the effects of the ban on exports to Russia by working on the construction of a renowned and positioned Cieza Melocotón brand as the best in the world, with the best flavor and quality,” explained Soledad Morillas, manager of China in Crowd, during the agreement signing ceremony in which his partners José Manuel Martínez (market and purchasing analyst in China) and Martín García (business development consultant) were also present. Arturo Soler and Antonio Santos did so on behalf of Agromarketing.

The agreement aims to collect information from Chinese consumers about their interest or taste in the fruit offering. Promotion and commercial representation of stone fruit companies will also be established, with the establishment of a concrete and competitive commercial offer for the Chinese market, according to the market prices and products offered.

Likewise, both firms will be in charge of promoting the destination of Cieza within the market of potential Chinese tourists, as a place of rural, agricultural and historical interest. Routes like 'La Floración de Cieza' will be one of the main tourist attractions.
